One Training – Two Registration Options

ARPA and NAYS believe that ALL STAFF should understand their critical role and responsibilities to ensure that sports are positive, safe and fun for all!

NAYS Frontline Sports Staff Training

August 20, 2026 Thursday 10am – 2:30pm

For sports, athletics and recreational staff in any position (full-time, part-time, new hire, seasonal, etc.) to gain valuable information, knowledge and to network with others from around the state.

Topics:

• Intro to Sports Administration

• Our Leadership Role in Positive Customer Service

• Promoting Sportsmanship

• Interacting with Parents, Volunteers, Participants and Leagues

• Safety Issues

• Resources & Tools to Ensure Quality Youth Sports!

Option #1 – Sports Staff Training Only

For any staff members who will benefit from professional development and networking. Participants will receive written materials and a digital Certificate of Participation.

$60 per person

Group rate – 2 or more $50 per person

Option #2 – Sports Staff Training + CYSA

For those also earning the industry recognized Certified Youth Sports Administrator (CYSA) designation. At the conclusion, access to the Academy for Youth Sports Administrators will be provided to complete the online certification program.

$395 per person

* Current CYSAs must register using Option #1 since this training serves as a review to earn 3 hours of continuing education towards the next CYSA update and processing fees are included too
